I am assisting a dynamic and ambitious company in their search for an Assistant Accountant to join the Finance team.
As Assistant Accountant you will report directly to the Financial Controller and will work alongside the wider Finance Department covering credit control and purchase ledger when required.
Key Responsibilities:
Submission of monthly payroll to outsourced payroll office within deadlines
Responsibility for onboarding and offboarding staff
Administration of the invoices
Daily and monthly reconciliation
Reporting daily cash position to the Directors
Month End Procedures
Adhoc reporting as required by Financial Controller and Finance Director
This role has the potential to progress to a management accountant role in line with company growth plans for the right candidate.
Experience we’re looking for are:
Proven experience within industry finance department or a finance practice background with management accounts and audit experience
AAT Level 4 or part qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA
Benefits:
Salary from £25,000 – £28,000 (dependent on experience)
