Gillespie Recruitment are delighted to be working with our client, a leading chartered Accountant and business advising firm in the North East, in their search for an Audit Assistant Manager!
The position requires someone who is highly organised, customer focussed, technically astute and has strong IT skills that can be used to proactively improve audit efficiencies.
The main responsibilities include:
- Leading and management of audits on a varied portfolio of audit clients.
- Developing and mentoring of junior staff.
- Preparation of statutory accounts.
- Preparation of corporation tax computations.
Their ideal candidate will:
- Be qualified (ACA/ACCA) or qualified with extensive audit experience.
- Have experience in audit, with at least 5 years’ experience leading audits.
- Have clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate detailed and meticulous record keeping.
- Hold a full driving licence and have use of a car.
