You will advise on, reviewing and approving proposed changes in applications within the supported area.The role is responsible for the identification of business processes improvements that are complex / comprehensive in nature because it affects multiple processes with a high degree of interaction / integration, many stakeholders are involved or due to the innovative character of changes.Key duties:* To expand and maintain a network within the business to gain in depth knowledge of the business processes and the use of IT* Advise the business on possible IT applications and organises meetings to discuss about IT applications, to improve the business process alignment* The successful candidate will Involve the stakeholders to find (alternative) solutions, analyse the effects of new solutions and the interactions on the related business processes* Supply information to create the business case and specify the risks and advises the business as a key platform expert in the decision-making process* Reviewing vendor proposals and specifications for application changes and analyses the impact of change on other applications are a key focus within the roleKey skills:* You will possess a minimum of 5-years' experience in a medium/large company* Detailed knowledge of existing business systems and associated internal processes and contracts* Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and support functions in the steel industry* You will have experience of commercial systems and processes, in particular CRMBenefits:* 35 days holidays per annum* Annual Pay Review* Annual Bonus Scheme – subject to business performance* Private Healthcare Scheme (Individual cover)* One of the UK's leading defined contribution pension schemes (10% employer contribution / 6% employee contribution)If this opportunity sounds of interest, then please apply!Acorn by Synergie acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
