Paul Gough Media
Do you have a love of finance and are you world class at helping business owners with the tricky subject of understanding where their money is going?
If so, we want to hear from you. You will be responsible for assisting the day-to-day management of a finance function that aims to be the leader in the field of providing outsourced CFO and Finance services to healthcare companies worldwide.
You will also be an able deputy to the Finance Manager of a Group of companies owned by Paul Gough that is currently generating close to $7m in worldwide sales with 40 + staff. This is a new division of a very well established company with 1000’s of customer’s world wide and as such we need someone who can come in and “hit the ground running” right away.
We are currently a finance function with an inhouse team of 6 and we’ve got plans to rapidly scale and recruit in 2023. For that reason, to be considered for this role, you will need to be AAT Qualified, have proof of previous supervisor experience and you will need to have a reasonable level of skill in doing Cashflow forecasts, Revenue Statements, and other analytical tasks. Your communication skills must be second to none and you’ve got to love talking “numbers” to other people and telling the story!
If you’re great at what you do, but currently working for a firm of accountants who fail to provide career progression, you’ve outgrown your current role, or you think you’ve got more to offer than your current company can provide – we want to take you to the next level in your career.
The founder of the company – Paul Gough – is a serial Entrepreneur who runs multiple businesses in the UK and the USA and is a “rare breed” of business owner who loves Finance and understands the importance of it to business growth and success. You will be in a great place if you’re wanting to grow your skills and develop your abilities in a finance setting.
Paul has grown multiple companies and he has written multiple best selling books on Amazon including one on marketing and leadership and he will provide you with the right type of environment to foster your personal growth and career progression as a finance leader.
If the person you’re working for right now doesn’t provide you with this – or you have a sneaky suspicion that your current boss isn’t going to provide you with the career opportunities to allow you to reach your full potential, we want to hear from you.
We LOVE finance, We LOVE helping people, and we are growing the best TEAM of finance staff anywhere in the UK to do it. Will you join us?
This is an office based job – in Hartlepool. Admittedly, Hartlepool isn’t necessarily what you would call the “mecca” of a rapidly growing finance team – but there’s a good reason why we are based there (we will tell you at interview), and besides, if ever you get a bit fed up of travelling to or being in Hartlepool, we have another office in Orlando, Florida (where it is much sunnier), that you can work from anytime you like (we will even pay for you to visit Disney if you do a very good job).
Anyway, if you like what you read so far, and you think you could do the job, before you apply, here’s what you will need to do for us in this role:
* Work with our business owner clients to provide them with all of the things they need from a professional finance department (cash flow forecast, management reports, balance sheet, etc)
* Assist in growing our “Out Sourced Finance” division to 250 business owners world wide
* Manage your own team of Finance Assistants
* Manage your own pod of Clients
* Manage and review all clients accounts and look for ways to improve their results / profitability
* Set the standard for personal growth and development constantly looking to lead and inspire the team you will manage
