Hours – Alternating shift pattern i.e. 1 week (5 days) 6am – 3pm, 1 week (4 nights) 6pm – 6am. (this can be discussed) Company: Having taken over an established corrugated packaging business this company relocated to a 70,000 square feet site and invested in the latest state of the art technology and an experienced team to achieve a managed expansion plan, whilst diversifying into the manufacture of high quality printed packaging for their targeted customer portfolio. To further broaden its offering, the company has achieved an AA rating with the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety and now supplies into a broad range of customers across the UK. Overview of role: This is an amazing opportunity for the right candidate to join my client’s manufacturing team. You will be an enthusiastic team player with high levels of accuracy and a flexible attitude towards work. You must be able to produce straight-line, crashlock and four corner cartonboard products. The Role: Setting up and running straight line glue jobs, 4/6 corner and crash lock boxes manufactured from corrugated and / or folding carton board Achieve daily production plan Comply with company processes and procedures Achieve daily, monthly and annual targets for the team, KPI’s and OEE Maintain a high level of housekeeping Passing of own work Work with a flexible approach and when required assist with other processes in the factory Comply will all company health and safety procedures Requirements: Ideal candidates will have previous experience of, and be fully competent working with: Bobst, Jagenberg, International or Fidia folder gluing machines, although experience of other machines will be considered. Experience of working on Straight Line Glue jobs, 4/6 corner and Crash Lock boxes manufactured from corrugated and / or folding carton board would be an advantage.
