Geography Teacher – Hartlepool
Teaching Personnel are looking for a passionate Teacher of Geography to join one of our Hartlepool based secondary schools. ECT and Fully Qualified teachers are welcome to apply for the role.
Full-time Geography Teacher

Pay in line with teacher pay scale
Planning, marking and delivering a full Geography timetable across KS3 – KS4 in line with the current curriculum

Job Description
To implement and deliver an appropriate, broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated Geography curriculum for students and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate.
To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students within the subject
To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential
To share and support the school’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth
The successful candidate will
Have QTS, with previous experience teaching Geography to pupils in KS3 and KS4
Provide engaging lessons to students of mixed abilities and have a natural passion for the subject
Be ambitious, creative, and highly motivated with the capacity to provide and produce diverse lessons
Be able to deliver the curriculum in a way that provides positive outcomes
Be able to maintain classroom focus and manage any behaviours that challenge
Be comfortable within a class of up to 30 students, ranging from ages 11-16

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
