Hard Services Manager – EQUANS – Hartlepool


EQUANS is looking for a Hard Services Manager  to join our team in Hartlepool on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive  salary, bonus and benefits package.

Responsible for the full (Hard Services) operational, financial, commercial, programme and communication activity for the EDF Energy contract at Hartlepool power station.

In addition, ensuring that the contract delivers EQUANS performance in line with EDF Energy requirements, health safety & environmental statutory compliance, quality, specific site performance objectives, financial budgets and a pro-active service to the client.

What will you deliver?

  • Experience with a record of delivery in a management role
  • Effective and decisive organisational skills with experience in introducing new ideas and approaches
  • To lead, motivate and develop the Hard Services Team.
  • Ability to lead a team and communicate across all levels working within performance management systems
  • Experience of developing operational teams, focused on service delivery
  • Sound understanding of H&S, Environment and QA procedures
  • IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft applications and other information management systems.
  • Ensure that all Tier 2 contractors who undertake work on the site do so in a safe and professional manner and abide by the relevant Company procedures and site-specific procedures.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure tasks are handled accurately and on time therefore ensuring we deliver a high standard of work to the client.

  • An ability to work under pressure taking ownership of all delegated tasks ensuring that all work is of a high standard.
  • Able to establish good working relationships with other team members, provide guidance to others
  • Experience of producing monthly reporting and a performance measurement of operational services
  • Knowledge of risk assessment processes and procedures
  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • Proven experience in leadership positions within Hard Services
  • Background in BFM
  • Proven capability in project planning
  • An ability to work under pressure taking ownership of all delegated tasks ensuring that all work is of a high standard.
