Role: Health and Social Care Teacher
Location: Hartlepool
Start date: 4th September 2023
Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit a Teacher of Health and Social Care to join one of our successful partner secondary schools in the Teesside area. The post will begin at the start of the new academic year, with the possibility to go permanent if the right fit.
The 11-18 secondary school and sixth form college, located in Hartlepool, has been providing the local community with high quality Catholic education and pastoral care for nearly 50 years. The faith school provides itself on the values of compassion, justice, honesty, self-belief, respect, responsibility, confidence and resilience. The sixth form college boasts a recent 100% pass rate at A-Level in summer 2022 including 89% of students achieving A*-C grade.
About the role:
- Full-time Health and Social Care Teacher
- 11-18 secondary school located in Hartlepool
- Post starting 4th September 2023
- Pay in line with MPS/UPS
- Teaching a full timetable consisting of Key Stage 4 and 5 Health and Social Care
Candidate requirements:
- Must hold QTS in the UK
- Must be able to confidently deliver Health and Social Care to Key Stage 4 and 5
- Must possess a DBS on the update service/be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS (Child Workforce Only)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
