ICT Teacher – Hartlepool
Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity to recruit for a Teacher of Information and Communication Technology to join one of our thriving secondary schools in the Hartlepool area from 27th February 2023.
The school is considered as ‘good’ by Ofsted and students from this school are found to be highly engaged in their learning. The secondary school is located within the Middlesbrough area and is easily accessible via car as well as by a number of public transport links. The school has found an increased number of students choosing ICT as a GCSE option creating this opportunity.
Full-time ICT teacher
Required from February 2023
Paid in line with teaching scale
Teaching pupils aged 11-16 (KS3 and KS4 level)
Located in Hartlepool
To be considered for this position, the incoming teacher must have:
Hold a UK recognised Qualified Teacher Status, or equivalent
Experience teaching ICT to GCSE level (can be teaching practice)
Child workforce only DBS (we can help you apply)
Understand the theory and practice of effective teaching and learning
Understand the importance of high expectations and equality of access for all students
Details of the role:
To implement and deliver an appropriate, broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated ICT curriculum for students and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate.
To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students within the subject
To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential
To share and support the academy’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth
