Baltic Apprenticeships are delighted to be working in partnership with a fantastic client to support with their next IT support technician ;re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and driven IT Apprentice eager to explore and expand their technical capabilities. Whether you’re a self-taught tech enthusiast or a recent graduate looking to start your career, we want you on our team.

Due to an exciting growth period introducing 4 new warehouses and offices to our catalogue, they are now looking for a passionate IT Support Technician to support their group.

Roles & Responsibilities (Will include but not limited to):

  • Providing first-line support for hardware and applications across all our sites in Teesside.
  • Setting up and monitoring telephone systems and troubleshooting issues.
  • Connecting company devices to the company’s networks.
  • Configuring and installing company hardware including laptops, mobiles, desktops, and printers.
  • Password resets and setting up security access controls to manage who has access to specific resources and passwords.
  • Writing technical documentation and managing asset registries.

Full training to be provided by Baltic Apprenticeships and Leader Online Limited.

Desired Qualities, Skills & Knowledge:

  • A passion for and a basic understanding of IT.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team.
  • Excellent communication skills; customer service experience would be beneficial.
  • Good knowledge and competence in Windows, Excel/Sheets, and Google Chrome (Not essential).
  • Minimum grade of C/4 in Maths and C/5 in English

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • £17,500per annum
  • Monday to Friday 8am till 4pm
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holiday
  • Free parking
