The Job This role is rewarding and will require you to work one of several contracts as a Leakage Technician, the role is Monday to Friday with extra shifts at weekend if desired. You will locate and pinpoint leaks across a set DMA whilst using the latest methods to do so. As the Leakage Technician your duties will be but are not limited to: Lift and shift logging Deployment of loggers in new DMAs/areas pinpointing leaks within a set DMA Complete all relevant paperwork and raise jobs Skills and Knowledge Requirements: Self-starter, able to manage a variety of projects independently Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team Can take ownership of problems to resolution An effective time manager Computer literate Clean water experience (desirable but not essential) EUSR National Water Hygiene card (desirable but not essential) Technical understanding of clean water networks and assets (desirable but not essential) NRSWA trained – minimum, streetworks unit 2/SLG (desirable but not essential) Full UK Driving Licence What will you get in return: 21 days’ annual leave plus 8 days’ bank holiday Bonus and digs if required Pension scheme Training opportunities for development Company van and fuel card (business use only What to do if interested: Contact Shane Weston on 07718499950 or send your CV.
