Reed Procurement is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Articulated Fleet & Third-Party Logistics Manager for our client based in Hartlepool. The successful candidate will be responsible for the company’s inbound logistics and outbound articulated fleet which will contribute to the development and implementation of best practice logistics vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to improve operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Liaise with the Operations Director to work toward the key priorities of the strategic mission, offering guidance, structure and advice to deliver agreed objectives
Provide management and oversight over the full range of Artie fleet and third-party logistics
Lead and drive the progress and implementation of the logistics strategy
To ensure optimisation of employees, logistics, supply chain and fleet delivering successful OKRs
Oversee the company's Artie fleet including maintenance, operator compliance and warranty requirements
Qualifications:
CPC Qualification
Experience in a driver/vehicle management role
HGV driver regulations knowledge including the Working Time Directive
Knowledge of Microsoft office package especially Excel
