Marketing Assistant – Heyllo! – Hartlepool


We are currently seeking a self-starting and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant for our Hartlepool Office to collaborate closely with our team. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about offering a wide range of general marketing support but will also have aspirations of developing into a more senior marketing role within the organisation. The candidate will work under the direction of our marketing director to help reach the company’s marketing goals and objectives. Marketing Assistant Job Duties: Content & Campaign Creation * Assists in creating promotional materials, including social posts, email templates, brochures, blogs, marketing copy, press release and website content * Provides copywriting, copy-editing, QA, and formatting assistance during the creation of emails, website content, and other promotional materials * Manage and create content for our social channels, while also expanding its audience * Produce social media stories using Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram * Create visually engaging social videos and publish to key digital platforms * Create websites content to drive web searches and improve SEO * Create paid social media campaigns to promote products and services * Conduct online competitor research and identify market trends and opportunities * Create online surveys, polls, and other market research to look for patterns and trends Events Management * Organises and plans the production of marketing materials by working closely with departments, printers, sponsors, and other involved parties * Support onsite teams with creation of high impact stories and photography for our social channels Marketing Channels Management * Maintain social media accounts and website to support our products and services * Join online communities and moderate social posts * Support publication of blog and Heyllo! Live content * Maintain excellent customer relationships through superior customer service skills * Follow-up enquiries/leads via our Marketing channels Marketing technology & effectiveness * Work with head of system and data to measure, track, and report on effectiveness of campaigns and tactics. * Evaluate new technologies and internal processes to improve and optimise marketing and sales team performance Marketing Assistant Skills and Qualifications: * Advanced level of English and strong verbal and written communication * Excellent Copywriting skills * Advanced knowledge of MS office tools (Word, PPT, Excel) and Creative tools (Photoshop, Video editing software) * Exposure to/ experience with Marketing Automation applications and CRM tools are a plus * Strong attention to detail, problem solver, and the ability to multi-task. * Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success * Solutions-oriented attitude, exceptional drive, and motivation to succeed, and a passion for learning * Great interpersonal and communication skills
