Marketing Assistant Vacancy – Middleton, Manchester

This is an office based role

The Marketing Assistant will support the
Marketing Team in delivering all aspects of the marketing mix including
multiple websites, social channels, promotional activity, promotions, trade
events, content and copywriting, as well as providing a coordinating role to
support the activity of pubs and hotels.

The role & responsibilities:

  • Assist
    in the implementation of online and offline marketing campaigns across
    various channels.
  • Manage
    and update the company’s CRM system and support the General Managers with
    their individual accounts.
  • Assist
    with the organisation of events and other promotional activities.
  • Support
    the marketing function with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Assisting
    on photoshoots.
  • To
    develop, produce and deliver marketing projects as directed by the Head of
    Marketing.
  • To
    maintain a high level of customer service and quality in the delivery of
    all projects.
  • To
    ensure appropriate publicity for brands, promotions, events & Brewery
    activity.
  • Website
    audits and updates to ensure the content is best in class.
  • To
    monitor all competitors and keep up to date with changing trends in beers.
  • Support
    with regular consumer and trade newsletters.
  • Support
    the Sales Team with POS and marketing materials within agreed budgets.
  • To
    help organise and attend key consumer and trade events.
  • Data
    collection and reporting: Gather data from multiple platforms (Meta,
    Google Ads, GA4, SEO Platforms) for basic report building.
  • Reservations
    system updates: Update any marketing-related assets.
  • Market
    research and competitor analysis.
  • Print
    asset ordering: Order print materials for various sites and Support Office.

 The Person

  •  Proficient
    IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Familiarity
    with email marketing platforms.
  • Organisational
    skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent
    written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Good
    working knowledge of Adobe software for graphic design tasks.
  • Graduate
    Level or equivalent.
  • 1-2
    years’ work experience ideally in a marketing/events environment.
