Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity to recruit a PE Teacher to join on of our Hartlepool based schools. The school are looking for a passionate teacher with professional experience and skills that have the expertise to make a positive impact in the classroom, maximising the students learning.

Pay in line with teacher pay scale
A full PE timetable across KS3 – KS4 in line with the current curriculum
Located in Hartlepool

Job Description
To implement and deliver an appropriate, broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated PE curriculum for students and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate.
To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students within the subject
To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential
To share and support the schools responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth
The successful PE teacher will
Hold a UK recognised QTS (or equivalent)
be expected to plan, prepare, and deliver PE lessons covering a range of sports and activities
be expected to assess and evaluate pupil attainment and report these back to senior members of the department in order to take appropriate action
It will also be important to promote positive behaviour management amongst pupils and manage behaviour in line with the school policy
Have a passion for teaching and have teaching experience across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
