Principal Civil Engineer – Innotech Partners Careers – Hartlepool

Innotech Partners are looking for a seasoned, well-experienced Civil Engineer with ambition to take on the role of a Principal Engineer with a national, multidisciplinary design consultancy business, at a senior level. With an opportunity to work on a wide variety of project within sectors such as; commercial, retail, residential and leisure with the addition of high-rise and other prestigious landmarks. The right candidate will be willing to contribute toward the growth of the business and have experience managing a team of Engineers/Technicians as well as having control over their own work-load. The main duties of the role consist of: – Detailed drawing and calculations for highway and drainage to building control. – Pre-purchase and resolution planning – Flood risk assessment – Prep of 3D ground modelling – Liaise with clients and external agencies. – Enviro, Local Authorities, Water, etc. – Representing our client at exhibitions as well as any other public dealings. – Support and Training for team members. Requirements for the role: – Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, whilst possessing suitable previous experience within an equivalent Civil Engineering Consultancy, working to UK standards. – Previous experience with minimum senior or 5 years post qualified Civil Engineer Technical Skills: * Working experience of FRAs, Suds and Pre-Planning Advice. * Working experience of drainage and highway design and detailing to S38, S278 and S104 agreements. * Working experience of MicroDrainage WinDES * Use of AutoCAD/Autodesk, Civil 3D preferred. * Working appreciation of highway and general structures. * Use of Microsoft Office software packages i.e., Excel, Word, etc For all this, a fantastic package is on offer for the right candidate with apparent experience.
