The ( Project CM):

Manages, together with the Project Director (PD), the commercial relationship with GE’s clients, both manage the formal communication with clients and key partners ( excluding suppliers and subcontractors) and serve as the singular point of contact for matters concerning clients contracts.

Is responsible to facilitate contract awareness means to the project team ( contract familiarisation sessions, contracts’ summaries, contracts extracts, live sessions, ad-hoc contract interpretation etc.,)

Proposes and support the implementation on solutions to any contract-related problems that may arise within contracts with clients. Advise on solutions to contract-related problems with other parties ( such as subcontractors, suppliers, etc.,).

Provides support on drafting, negotiation, and execution of key subcontracts

Actively support Risk and Opps Management within the project

Manages together with the PD the change orders management (towards the client and main subcontractors), always in accordance with GE Renewable Energy Offshore Wind processes.

Manages the Claim management (from and to Client, from and to subcontractors) in accordance with GE Renewable Energy Offshore Wind processes. Contribute to development and implementation of project claim / claim prevention strategy.

Manages main subcontracts to co-manage with Project Sourcing. Provide support during negotiations of claims, managing contractual changes and resolving disputes, all in accordance with GE Renewable Energy Offshore Wind processes.

Contributes to monthly project reports, summaries, and presentations, as required by the PD.

Proposes to PD and Communications Manager the best way to keep proper records on communications, notices, claims, variations both within clients contracts and main subcontracts. Actively support the implementation of those.

Liaise with legal and insurance (internal, external, consultants) on resolution of any contractual/legal/insurance issue.

Provides any other contractual/commercial support agreed with the PD necessary for the project execution.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, commercial, or legal fields

Strong experience of managing large scale construction contracts.

Desired Characteristics ​

Strong contractual and commercial acumen.

Experience on negotiation and resolution of complex contractual issues.

Experience in contracts/projects with critical interfaces, complex infrastructure (civil engineering, offshore, oil and gas, construction and/or renewable energy sector), complex negotiation and dispute resolution.

Project Contract administration including change orders, claim management, ability to develop and implement project claim strategy.

Experience in developing, negotiating and managing constructions subcontracts.

Manages formal communication with client, key partners and key subcontractors

Dispute resolution experience. Preferred Arbitration experience but not a must

Risk Management experience on projects execution.
