Our Bakersfield, CA Distribution Center is now hiring an onsite Technolo gy Support Technician
The Technology Support Tech position is for in-person work at the Active Sports Inc West Coast Distribution Center in Bakersfield, CA. This position is the first point of contact for any technical issues with Picking, Packing and Receiving.
This position will be responsible for:
Providing in-person technology support for employees at SACO through the ticketing system
Troubleshooting and repairing computers, printers, network equipment and other technical equipment. If not resolved, documenting what happened and what was done to fix the issue.
Investigating general warehouse application errors and issues. If the issue was not resolved, documenting what happened and what was done to fix the issue.
Working with the MN team over fulfilling all ticket requests both in person and remote
Adding to and maintaining technical documentation
Maintaining inventory of technical equipment
Working with the technology team on projects that improve the technical infrastructure of Active Sports Inc
Managing regular patching, restarts of workstations
Troubleshooting, identifing and documenting network incidents
Communicating with team and escalating issues to the technology manager and technology team as necessary
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Must be at least 18 years of age
1+ years’ of IT-related support experience
Familiarity with RF scanners, supply chain/inventory computers, and handheld printers.
General knowledge of network products and systems
